The attached file this week shows the result of the virtual handicap on Saturday 7th June. If you name was John you seem to have done well! Old campaigners Stevie and Martin put in their best performances of the competition so far to make up the top 4 places.

In previous reports I suggested that the contenders to be League Winners may come out early and put a marker down. An impressive run from James looks as if he may be daring to believe that he should be clearing a space for a well deserved trophy for the Olympic League. However, there are still three weeks to go and Mark is 62 seconds better off in the handicap.
Lyndsay ran 12 miles all in on Saturday, including the Parkrun, was this to psych out the rest of the competitors in the Commonwealth League or did her companion Helen just get her lost on the warm up?

John F has put himself in with a chance in the World League, he looks to have overtaken Kenny despite Kenny running a course PB. When Hazel returns from her adventures she will need to put in shift to stay top as Lana and Omar look as if they are well handicapped.

There seems to be a clear split in the European League between those that are retired and have time to train and those still working for a living! Amazing what a wee nap in the middle of the day does for your recovery.

A whopping nine of the twenty 24 competitors on Saturday ran faster than their handicap time, equalling the number that ran faster than their time in all five weeks at Polkemmet.

Congratulations on Course PBs to James and Kenny, special mention for Jonny who was only 12 secs of his very quick PB.

With triple points at stake this month it is all getting very exciting. What are the chances of private pacers turning up over the next 3 weeks just help get a friend round in a quick time, just so they can beat another friend? Don’t pretend you never thought of this Driss!
