The LRC Blue train has Polkemmet Country Parkrun as the station of choice for May. A whopping 37 entrants finished yesterday, many supported by family and friends. They clocked up 12 course PBs, so perhaps the excellent weather made this the day to make a serious effort for the double points on offer for May. However, only four were inside their handicap time. so well done to John, Ryan, Jim and Kirsten. 



Club Captain James looks to be mounting a serious campaign this year, after a wander round Manchester last Sunday in 2 hours 43 mins it was back to the Spring Handicap and a course PB. 

Club coach Owen was not available for comment after his run but if it was anything like his comments uttered for the last three years it would not have been complimentary about the tough and demanding course.

There seems to have been cake which was in plentiful supply as Sandy’s pacer took her time to allow others to get a piece before dad scoffed the lot!
