It was the morning after the night before AND the morning before! In other words is was the morning after the famous Black Rock 5 and the morning before the LRC Dechmont 10k Trail Race, both incidentally sold out events. So not much change at the top of the League Tables with people listening to screaming calves and hamstrings or saving the legs for an out of this world experience at Dechmont. Not one person improved their June time this week . Dawn and John got points for finishing, although I suspect both had great chats with good company on the way round. With Clifford again beating his handicap he has provisionally gained 166 points and has pushed down a number of fellow competitors.

Next week is the last week of the Handicap. Weather Forecast looks fair for the week and with the likelihood of the trail sections of course drying out there could still be some fast times to be added to the table. For example, if I can find another 32 seconds I get a medal in the Champions League. a boy can dream.
