22 runners got times in the bag this morning at Auldcathie, which included 8 PBs and 3 First Timers. Driss, having missed the entry deadline last year, was not messing about going under 19 mins for only the second time at Auldcathie taking 29 secs off his PB. His time puts him an impressive 96 seconds ahead of his handicap time. Yes James, I did recheck his handicap!

Nearest to their Handicap time this week was Richard (1 second), followed by Euan (2 seconds). Personally, I have always liked you two.

I can only assume Ryan decided to attempt the new bouldering area before completing his run! (Sorry Ryan) Whilst others were reflecting on a job well done, Philp, our oldest entry, was still out there putting in a shift. He finished 5 minutes ahead of his handicap and it looks even at this early stage as if the 100 points for April could have found a home.

Lastly, Club Chair Kirsty had an impressive run and is currently lying third having beaten her handicap by just over 80 seconds. No wonder she was keen to make sure the Spring Handicap was happening this year!

Still three weeks left in April to either improve on your time or register a time at Auldcathie.
